MADISON – Chihuahua Mix / 1 year / 5.5 kg / F – Spayed

Her foster said it best: Itty bitty Madison is a true sweetheart and a wonderful little lady. She has lots of kisses to dole out and she’d like plenty of pats and loads of attention in return, thank you very much.

Madison is small in size and big in energy. She’s very playful and loves her outdoor time and long walks. Her house training is going well and she’s had no accidents (she gets let out every few hours). Way to go, girl! And while she is good, her enthusiasm leads to some “needs improvement” scores. She can be jumpy and doesn’t like to be left alone. Good news is, her foster says she’s trainable and eager to learn new things, and her future family will be committed to helping her learn house rules and independence. A confident canine pal who knows their stuff will help with this.

Spunky Madison seems to be keen on squirrels, so we think dog-savvy cats only or a cat-free home. She would be a good fit for an active family, including one with respectful kids. She’s a social dog who would be happiest with a dog pal, and will need one in her future home. Madison is small but active and will need lots of outdoor time, so a secure yard in her future home would be ideal.
