Malala’s favourite thing in the whole world is to play! She loves her toys and has become a champ at fetching. She’s exuberant and is really smart, so is quick to learn what is appropriate behaviour and what is not. When she’s not busy amusing herself with people or other dogs, this softie turns into a lap dog extraordinaire. She is a serial cuddler who’s come a long, long way from the tenement house she was found in soon after having a litter of puppies. Now that she has been rescued, she appreciates time with her foster mom, and cries with Maru leaves her for too long. We want to be sensitive to this, and ensure her future family has someone home most of the time.

A home with a fenced yard would suit Malala just fine. She’s good with other dogs and with cats and needs a family who’ll play with her, canoodle with her, and make her an integral part of their lives. And having a canine companion in the house would make her extremely happy.
