Foster mom describes Mauso as a “jackpot dog”! He is the friendliest dog EVER!!! Mauso loves all people and all dogs. He is the epitome of an old soul with a bright spirit.Mauso loves that he’s been given this second chance! He is incredibly grateful for every belly rub, walk, treat, and brush. He has the most incredible soulful eyes and youthful smile. He spreads joy wherever he goes!
Mauso is a resilient boy who will take on any new adventure, even if his people have to give him a little encouragement because he loves to make them proud!
Mauso is very affectionate so be prepared to get lots of kisses! He loves car rides, being pampered and getting petted!
Mauso is housetrained and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. He is still working on his confidence indoors as he can be a bit skittish at times but quickly finds comfort when he is in his crate, dog bed or in the arms of his people.
Mauso’s ideal home is a house or an apartment with access to a yard or green areas for outdoor activities and to chill. While Mauso occasionally takes the lead from his foster brother, he mostly looks to his people for guidance. He needs a family that includes him in their daily activities, spends time with him and, above all fills him with love. Mauso passed his cat test but seems a bit timid around them.
