Max is a super happy, easy-going and loving young guy. He’s confident, adaptable and a very quick learner who aims to please his people.

Max is fantastic with other dogs–playful but not rough, confident, but not overly dominant. He’s already been introduced to the dog park in foster care and he thinks it’s awesome. A park full of dogs to play with and humans to visit? Best thing ever, according to Max.

Max adores people. He likes to stay close so that he can get in as many pets and snuggles as possible. He also likes cats. This guy seems to be made for making friends.

Max is housetrained and fine in the crate at night. He’s gotten a good start on his training and is learning to walk well on leash. Being an exuberant young guy (who is also working to learn not to jump up when he greets people), he may do best in a family with slightly older kids (around 8+ seems ideal). He would love a yard to run around in but he’s being fostered in a condo and seems to be absolutely fine with condo living too, as long as he gets enough exercise and outdoor time and isn’t left alone for long stretches.
