MEEKO – Lab mix / 6 months / 8.5kg / F-Spayed

Sweet Meeko is cuddly, curious and defines cute! This little gem is such a quick learner and has already mastered stairs and sitting for treats. She loves going for walks where she happily meets new people and other dogs. Meeko has impressive leash skills, she likes to stay super close by your side. She just wants to go wherever you go.

Meeko has excellent house manners. She is housetrained and sleeps well in her crate at night. Her foster mom is so impressed with what a good girl she is. She has puppy playfulness with a perfect balance of calm. Meeko won’t ever turn down a snuggle session, good back scratch, or belly rub. She loves her chew bones, her stuffies, and will seek them out on her own to have a solo play session when her foster brother is taking a nap. Her favourite play move is ‘the pounce’!

Meeko’s forever home will have to have a secure yard where she can explore, play with her pals, chase her frisbee and bask in the sun. She will feel most comfortable with an existing dog pal who she can continue to learn from. Her forever family will need to be home often and able to provide her with frequent walks and dedicate time to all things related to puppy training. Meeko has not yet been around children, but her foster mom believes she would do well with older, sturdier kids as she jumps when excited. She passed her cat test in Mexico.

Meeko will make an amazing companion and is looking for her best friend to hang out and have many adventures with! If you are looking to get a second pup for your family and sweet, cuddly Meeko sounds like a good match, check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com.
