MEMO – Poodle Mix / 3 years / 7.5 kg / M-Neutered

Memo arrived looking serious, but after a bath, some cuddles and an introduction to the toy box – a whole new dog is emerging. He had been described to us as being quite shy, but we think that shelter life can be hard on a dog, and now, in a home, this kid is thriving!

He is happy to seek out the special moments whether it be playing in the rain or snuggling up to his foster mom. He has been great about mimicking the other two dogs in the home and is keen to learn what pleases his humans. Toys are awesome and the soft stuffies have quickly become a favourite. Memo enjoys playing and following the lead of his foster siblings so a dog pal in the home will help him continue to thrive.

So far, he seems like an easy pup, provided he is getting back what he is giving out! His wish list includes a dog pal, secure yard for playing, suntanning, relaxing, zoomies, chilling. He loves his time outside with his peeps. His future family will be happy to take him on a lot of walks throughout the day as he is really enjoying his time exploring his new neighbourhood (A+ for leash skills). Memo sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and is very well mannered in the home. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house, this good boy seems to be house-trained! He did really well on his cat test, despite the needy feline getting him in the corner for some affection. See his cat test video below.

Despite his past, this brave boy is ready to love again! If you are keen on applying for this good boy, please check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. His adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with older kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply. (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
