MIKEL – Retriever Mix / 7 months / 10kg / M-Neutered

Fluffy ears? Check.
An incredibly sweet personality? Check.
A very smart boy? Check.
Mikel may seem like a total package, but the only thing he is missing is his forever family! (Could that be you?)

Mikel has formed a great bond with his foster family and is enjoying learning how to dog from them. He is currently fostered with a dog, some cats, and some children there is mutual admiration from all (altho he approaches the resident 16 year old for extra cuddles when the mood hits him). He loves playing with his toys (balls and chew bones) and manages his energy level well, considering he is just a pup. He checks in with his foster family and the resident dog to gauge whether it is play time or chill time.

Since arriving in his foster home, Mikel has been enjoying learning new skills. So far, he knows sit, down, ‘with me’ (walking in a heel inside). Now he is learning to enter his crate on command, we know he will learn it quickly! Mikel is learning to love walks and the world that he can explore with his peeps. He is housetrained and sleeps in his crate overnight.

Mikel would like people home most of the time, keen on spending time with him in both play and his education. Mikel also requires a full-time dog pal in the home that will be a good mentor to him and help navigate life. A secure yard for him to play in is also a must.
