Motita

This lovely little weirdo is Motita.  He’s a complicated fellow, so his future family will be experienced with poodle personalities.  The odd stuff is, he thinks he likes dogs and wants to greet everyone that he meets, but when that meeting happens he’s a bit of a hot mess.  To help curb this enthusiasm, his future family will need to focus on leash manners, and ensure he focuses on the task at hand.  Once he gets to know dogs he is fine, although he does tend to be the “fun police” if dogs are having too much fun.  He won’t need a dog pal in the home, but if there is, his preference is one free of shenanigans (slow and steady, wins this race).

Inside the house, his manners are great, with a few exceptions. He has marked in new spaces (faux confidence, perhaps?), and he does bark when concerned by noises or strangers.  For this reason, his future home will be detached and have a secure yard.  He does love cats, but we think it’s a bit too much, so his future home will need to be cat free.  And kid free.

To summarize, his wish list is:

– house with yard

– no kids/no cats

– no dog needed in the home, but if there is one, lets make it a boring pup

– training is a must to improve his leash skills

– patience is key

(We told you he was complicated!)
