MOUSH – Mexi Mix / 4 Years / 24kg / F-Spayed

Moush has a special magnetism, and we were pondering “if she was a movie character, who would she be”. We pondered Elle Woods (beautiful but a bit ditzy) or Drew’s character in “50 First Dates” as Moush starts each new day with the same goofy enthusiasm. But, after some deliberation, we think she is Rachel Green (from “Friends”, of course). Like Rachel, Moush has a beauty that shines bright, and often she will get compliments from strangers on her hair or her eyes. She is a loyal companion, happy to hang with her humans taking in the fun around her. She is more than happy to join in on the fun too, but hanging with her besties is where she is happiest. Moush (and Rachel) are never going to be the most clever girl, but their optimistic, charm and fab personality will win the room every time!

How else is she like Rachel you ask? She is housetrained, is a great sleeper, has a strong metabolism (it may look like she could gain a few pounds), not great with cats, has the best smile, loves her walks but can also chill. Their eyes are incredibly expressive and can tell a story without any words. They love their friends, but are perfectly ok doing their own thing: she prefers good quality, kind friends, vs the life of a party girl. But, while Rachel is a city girl, Moush is past that, and prefers her streets chill and serene. Also, we suspect that Rachel does not do full body wiggles when she sees her people, but we have not been able to validate this.

Moush loves activity like playing with her toys, fetch or physical based training. A yard is a requirement, as is an active human. She may look big in photos, but note that she is just 53lbs (Moush, we mean…not Rachel). We are pondering whether she needs a dog pal in the home and we think it comes down to the right dog and the right people. In her foster home, she blended in with the entire crew seamlessly, but seemed more engaged with foster mom, than canine foster sibs.

To apply to adopt Moush check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with older kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/).
