NADIA – Lab Mix / 8 months / 12 kg / F-Spayed

Nadia!! This little cutie has been stealing hearts ever since she stepped into her foster home. Foster mom says she is full of love: love for her people, for her dog pals, and her cat pals too! Her needs are pretty simple, she just needs to be surrounded by her peeps and some toys and she is happy. She is very playful and has been known to enjoy a squeaky toy and can entertain herself with her toys very well. She also enjoys playing with the canine pals in her foster home. Nadia is very cuddly and can often be found giving everyone kisses (human and canine)!

Nadia is house trained and crate trained. She has started to go into her crate throughout the day whenever she feels like a nap! If Nadia experiences a situation that causes her any fear (like a new big dog) she will roll on her belly immediately to show that she is not a threat (how cute). So far, she is learning the difference between play time and relax time. She is such a smart girl! Nadia also walks incredibly well on leash for such a young dog but would benefit from some guidance from her peeps on walks.

For Nadia’s future home we are still trying to determine if she needs a dog pal. If you do not have an existing dog in the home for Nadia, we’d love to hear about your dog socialization plans (no dog parks for this girl though). Nadia would do wonderfully in a house with children so long as the children understand dog boundaries. People home most of the time would be preferred. Nadia also gets along very well with the cats in her foster home.
