OLENNA – Lab Mix / 1 year / 15kg / F-Spayed

Olenna navigated Christmas with her foster family like a rockstar! There were kids, dogs, presents, food, the whole crazy, fun-filled tradition of family gatherings and she was just happy to be in the centre of it all! She was extemely well-behaved and polite throughout the festivities. Now Olenna is super-excited for the New Year because that is when she is hoping to find her forever family and home!

Olenna has the sweetest personality and she is smart too: she really is the entire package! She is crate trained but recently graduated to having free roam of the house due to her exceptional manners. She sleeps quietly in her dog bed all night and when foster parents are busy during the day she settles in quietly with her canine foster sisters. We think she is happiest as part of a group and her future home will want to have canine pals and/or people home most of the time to keep her company.

In her foster home, she has been grand-kid tested and is amazing (note, these kids are very well behaved youngsters that show pups lots of respect). She is great with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and loves to run and play with them in the yard. Olenna is completely house trained and will bark to go out. She is occasionally a little vocal when she is excited but calms quickly. She loves to snuggle up in her dog bed in front of the fireplace or wherever her people are. Olenna is also a great traveller and loves her rides in the car.

For her, a back yard is a must as outdoor zoomies are part of her daily agenda. She’d love people around most of the time and a full time dog pal in the home is a must. She did pass her cat test in Mexico.

If you are interested in adopting Olenna, please check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply. (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/ ).
