PEPE – Lab Mix / 2 years / 15kg / M-Neutered

Handsome and adventurous Pepe is on the lookout for his forever family. While he likes an active family, he really enjoys a laid back homelife. A secure back yard is a must, as he loves a great game of hard-core fetch. We’d love to see him with a family where he can exercise his beans out – a runner or a hiker would be great for him. Once he is tuckered out, he is a master at chilling. He can curl up with his humans or chill in the sun: once he has spent his energy, he is putty in your hands.

Pepe can be shy and/or wary when meeting new dog friends and people on leash. He will need someone that will commit to ongoing training to help build his confidence. We think a calm, older dog sibling would be a great help for him (worst case, frequent play-dates). He does have stranger danger in the house, and may nip when frightened. His foster family finds it completely manageable and is fluent in Pepe-speak, and we think he will thrive with experienced dog people.

Pepe prefers his humans to be around most of the time, and we will prioritize this criteria for him. For a young guy, he is smart, sensitive, polite and sweet (house-trained too!) We would love him to have a dog buddy and no feline friends, please.
