Update from Peter’s foster mom!
Peter is a very bright and handsome boy. He walked himself right into the shelter on his own accord and rescued himself! And now he has made it to Canada to find his forever home… with a little help this time…lol.
– He is also very sweet, loving and a big fan of cuddles. He absolutely loves to affection of all kinds. He plays wonderfully with all people and dogs, and at his recent cat test, he seemed a bit smitten with cats. If you have a cat, please check in with it to see if it is looking for a canine bff.
– Peter loves his stuffies. He takes them very gently from you, but he will need the extra tough ones to last awhile! He can certainly entertain himself but will chase toys if you throw them for him.
– Peter really enjoys his walks and loves to explore. He is great on a leash but does have a little muscle when he is on a good scent. We think there may be some hound in this guy! When back home, he bounds upstairs and then settles in quietly nearby or in his bed.
– To top it all off, this special dog knows how to sit and is house trained! He will be kid tested soon so stay tuned as we get to know this sweet, outgoing guy!
