PHOENIX – Low-Rider Lab / 19 months / 14 kg / F-Spayed

Mythologically speaking, the phoenix spirit animal symbolizes hope, rebirth, and transformation. This couldn’t be more applicable to our girl Phoenix. If anyone was due for a “rebirth” it is her. Fortunately, she made her way to the shelter after calls alerting rescuers that a dog had been hit by a car on the highway. Phoenix was immediately brought into surgery to repair her badly broken leg and hip. She is left with a bit of a limp, but other than that, her transformation is complete!

At the shelter with her canine pals, Phoenix has discovered that her favourite activity is playtime! She is so lovely with other dogs and would do best with a built in playmate in the home. For Phoenix’s future home, we would love her peeps to be home most of the time and for her to have access to a nice yard to play in! Phoenix would also love a dog pal. Phoenix passed her cat test in Mexico.

If Phoenix is the girl for you, please check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply. (https://dibsrescue.com/kids-dogs/ ).
