POLITA – Lab Mix / 3 Years / 24kg / F-Spayed

We looked up Politia’s bio from September 2022, and this is what we were told about this young girl “Polita is yet another case where human indifference is the worst damage there can be. We found her lying on a street near the shelter, full of scabies and nothing but skin and bones. Nobody saw her, and nobody helped her.
What can we say about our dear Polita; she is a very cute and affectionate dog who enjoys human company and lots of snuggles.” Fast forward two years, and the same sentiment still applies. (Except her previous owner let her get obese, but still had a great deal of human indifference towards her).

Polita has re-learned what it’s like to be loved, and the confidence that goes with that. Don’t get us wrong, she is not perfect, and every now and then, she will have a moment full of fear where she gets in her own head. But those moments are now few and far between (and totally predictable).

For her future home, we’d love her to have a canine pal in the home. She really enjoys the companionship and mentoring that a cool dog brings into her life. We have not cat tested here. In her past life she has been great with kids, but again, we have not tested her ourselves. If there are kids, she would prefer the older, well-mannered (quieter) kind. She would love a family that is home most of the time, and willing to pay attention to her with walks and playtime and cuddles.
