Queso (the girl)

Queso is a very gentle and happy girl (and would you look at those eyes!) She was abandoned at the side of a road, in a very dangerous area, but was thankfully rescued and is ready for a new life with a family of her own.

She loves the outdoors, where she likes to run and play with you. She likes a good game of fetch with a toy, but may or may not bring it back… she’s a bit of a tease! She is calm inside the house – she will come by your side for a lean-in and a pet, and she’s quickly learning the stairs. She is potty trained and will let you gently know when she needs to go outside.

Queso is interested in other dogs but is a little nervous when they get too close. Her foster mom is going to set up some playdates to see if she’d like to make some dog friends. She’s also good with kids – a little shy at first and requires gentleness when approaching, so kids 10+ would be recommended.
