RAMEN – Lab Mix / 20 months / 15kg / F–Spayed

You may remember Ramen! She was with DIBS last summer (along with her siblings). She was adopted last July, but with the recent passing of her human dad, and with her mom being in a wheelchair, Ramen needed more than just unconditional love. With a heavy heart, Ramen’s mom asked DIBS if we could help her find a new home. So, here we are!

She is back with her original foster family and they love her to bits! She is now housetrained (bonus) and sleeps throughout the night. She is shy at times, and really gets confidence from her dog pals. We know she misses her old family, and are giving her lots of love to ease her pain.

Her highlight of each day are the walks: she gets so excited! And those legs – they were made for running! Without hesitation, her favourite human is the guy who takes her for all the walks, although treat givers are also pretty cool too. She would be a great jogging pal, or a fantastic playmate for another dog. She loves toys, playing, lounging on the couch or at your feet, during the workday. She can be nervous of new things and may bark and retreat, but with a minute of coaxing (and a treat) she can get over it. But, considering what she has been through, we completely understand that she is just trying to figure things out.

We’d love to see her forever home have a great back yard for running, some activities that she can participate in (running, hiking) and a dog pal is a must! Ramen is a fabulous young lady just waiting for the right family to settle down with. If you think she may be right for you, please apply at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $550. If you are a family with kids, please check out out resources on kids and dogs before you apply (http://dibsrescue/kids-dogs/)
