RAYSA – Shepherd Mix / 1 Year / 14 Kg / F-Spayed

Happy girl Raysa is taking her new life in stride. She loves people and is great with other dogs – she and her foster siblings have become best buddies already. Raysa just wants attention and praise from her humans and if she had it her way, she’d be with them at all times. She is a super sweetheart!

This peppy girl is active and curious about the world around her. She would love to have a family that can take her for many adventures and let her explore her new surroundings. But when it’s time to rest, she likes to snuggle in a fuzzy dog bed and sleeps all night in her crate.

Raysa loves strolling around the neighbourhood and already walks well on her leash. The snow hasn’t slowed her down at all – in fact, she loves it! This girl is food motivated which will help with her incredible training potential. She enjoys exploring the backyard and is starting to play with toys (she has been caught sneaking the occasional slipper or hat into her crate for a “cuddle”…).

While we are still learning about Raysa, right now we’re looking for an active home with a yard, with humans who are home most of the day to spend lots of time with her. She would enjoy having a fur sibling or lots of opportunities to socialize with a good group of canine friends. We recommend older, dog-savvy kids only as she hasn’t learned not to jump yet.
