RICARDO – Shepherd Mix / 4 Months / 7.1kg / M-Neutered

This dapper young fellow sporting the tan tuxedo is Ricardo. He was rescued from the streets in Mexico with his mom and siblings, so he is initially shy in new situations, and nervous of new things (and people) at first. Ultimately his curiosity gets the best of him, and he can’t help but explore! Once he is comfortable, he will show you his sweet, happy puppy side. His foster family has nicknamed him “Licky Ricardo” because he loves giving kisses! He likes wrestling and sharing bones and responds well to treats.

Since he has arrived in Canada, Ricardo has been following his foster brother everywhere! Ricardo will need a young dog sibling in his future home as he builds his confidence, as well as access to a secured yard as he enjoys his time outside. He is good with kids, and curious about cats but respectful. So far, he is walking well on a leash and doing well with house and crate training, but his future family must have the time to commit to ongoing training. He is most comfortable when he’s around people or other dogs.
