Rita is a charming girl with cute, big ears and a matching smile! She loves going for walks (yes, even in this cold Canadian weather), playing with her foster brother Ollie and snuggling up with her foster family. Rita has a calm energy, but she does let her playful and spunky side show from time to time. She enjoys playing with her toys and her favourite humans. Rita is big on her people, and has requested that she would like them to be home most of the day too.

Rita is a smart cookie with an eagerness to please. She is house-trained, leash-trained, and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. She is good with other dogs who match her energy level, and is working on her relationship with cats…she’s still a little too keen on chasing them, so a cat-free forever home would be best. A yard is a must for this sweetheart! Rita loves the outdoors, whether she is playing or just relaxing, she would prefer to be outside while doing either!
