ROBERTA – Shepherd Mix / 1 Year / 16kg / F-Spayed
Lovely Roberta seems like the perfect pup! She is housebroken, loves to chill with her peeps, sleeps in her crate overnight without a peep, and is so well mannered.  She is treat motivated and loves to learn. She has “sit” mastered and is working on “stay”.  During the workday, she is happy to take an afternoon naps, and check in for boops and pets every hour or so. She can amuse herself with puzzles or treats, but she does prefer the company of dogs.  Her future home will be calm, and will must have a dog pal to keep her company, help with confidence and be her future bestie.  It’s no surprise that she totally rocked her (adorable) cat test. She will need her humans home most of the time, as she simply adores that interaction.
No surprise, she is great outside too.  She adores her time in a secure yard, and has decided that snow is just awesome. She loves tennis balls and hasn’t figured out fetch yet, but her foster mom is working on it.  For walks and hikes, she will begrudgingly go, if it means more time with foster mom.
She is a distemper survivor and she does have an adorable paw twitch when she sleeps. While she is recovered, she will always have twitches from time to time. She may have a future of hip dysplasia (too soon to tell) so an investment in supplements will keep her healthiest.
