ROSS – Lab-Shep Mix / 2 Years / 15 kg / M-Neutered

Ross is a quick learner and is settling in nicely to his routine. Although Ross is not a huge fan of the cold weather (we can relate), he is always excited for his morning walk – it helps that he has 3 sweaters that he loves wearing out. When out and about, he likes to meet new dog friends at the park. After his walk, he enjoys coming inside to cuddle up with a warm blanket and some belly rubs. He also enjoys the finer things in life, like napping or chewing on his cow hoof. He also loves to play with his ball that lets out a little kibble as it rolls around.

Ross has been great about braving the downtown city streets, but we think he’d do better an a neighbourhood that is a bit more chill than downtown living, and a secured yard would be a bonus for him too. He is trying his best to be brave on his own, but a dog sibling in his future home will truly help him with this! We think his pal can be a confident mentor, just to show him the ropes. His playful side is coming out the more confident he gets, but his new family will need to give him a minute to decompress and feel comfortable enough to let his awesome personality really shine.

To apply to adopt Ross, check out the adoption process and application at His adoption fee is $750. If you are a family with kids, please check out our resources on kids and dogs before you apply (
