RUNA – Mexi-Lab Mix / 7 Months / 13kg / F-Spayed

This lovely girl is Runa and she is looking for her forever family. She is a zen-dog, and loves to wade through the water, or lounge in the gardens. She exudes peacefulness with her gentle mannerisms.

Runa is a shy, quiet lady who gets along very well with other dogs and really likes being close to her people. She isn’t overly food motivated, but instead seeks affection (ear scratches, and belly rubs please!) Her house-training is going very well, she is getting better at sleeping through the night in her crate, her leash skills are improving every day, and she even tolerates car rides without a peep! A sudden noise may startle Runa at first and she is quickly learning to settle once she figures out what it is. She wouldn’t be thrilled to be in a chaotic busy house, but instead would prefer to practice peace and gratitude.

As she seeks out humans before her canine foster brother, she would be ok in a home without a dog. However, lots of canine play dates need to be on the agenda so she can practice her social skills, and continue to build her confidence. She will also need a secured yard to explore (and to help with all those puppy bio breaks). She is great with kids and passed her cat test.
