Young Shasta has been through a lifetime of misery, but that is all behind her now, and we promise to find her the very best home. Her abuse has wounded her on the outside, leaving her with minimal teeth, pellets in her body, and a wonky back leg. Her resiliency has made her the GOAT on the inside. (Shasta hangs with the cool crowd now, with her foster moms walking groups and she knows that being the GOAT just means she is the greatest of all time!)

So….to summarize: Shasta is a wee bit broken, so if you don’t think she is the girl for you, check out our other dogs on our site. She is house-trained, has great manners, gets along with her foster sibs, passed her cat test, she loves walks and belly scratches and hanging with her toys.

Shasta’s wish list for her perfect forever family includes:
-An easy going home environment that’s not too busy where she can spend the day with her family.
-A bungalow, or home with not too many stairs, with a secured yard.
-A dog sibling- she would benefit from one to boost her confidence and match her playful energy.
-A family that has unconditional love and patience for her.
