SHASTA – Collie-Mix / 4 Years / 23 kg / F-Spayed

Point in time quote for Shasta: “I am starting to remember who I was, before they convinced me I was worthless”

Young Shasta has been through a lifetime of misery, but that is all behind her now, and we promise to find her the very best home. Her abuse has wounded her on the outside, leaving her with minimal teeth, pellets in her body, and a wonky back leg. Her resiliency has made her the GOAT on the inside. (Shasta hangs with the cool crowd now, with her foster moms walking groups and she knows that being the GOAT just means she is the greatest of all time!)

So….to summarize: Shasta is a wee bit broken, so if you don’t think she is the girl for you, check out our other dogs on our site. However, if you have a soft-spot for the dogs in need, keep on reading as she is one special girl! She is house-trained, has great manners, gets along with her foster sibs, passed her cat test, she loves walks and belly scratches and hanging with her toys.

Shasta’s wish list for her perfect forever family includes:
-An easy going home environment that’s not too busy where she can spend the day with her family.
-A bungalow, or home with not too many stairs, with a secured yard.
-A dog sibling- she would benefit from one to boost her confidence and match her playful energy.
-A family that has unconditional love and patience for her.

She’s a quiet, chill girl that deserves lots of love, kindness and patience that will continue to allow her to blossom and show off her amazing self. To apply to adopt sweet, beautiful Shasta, check out the adoption process and application at www.dibsrescue.com. Her adoption fee is $750.
