Sheldon is a gentle and snuggly sweetheart. This smart boy only recently arrived in Canada and he has already learned so much. Sheldon’s an eager-to-please kind of guy who’s motivated by treats, affections and toys. He’s already crate and housetrained and has been working hard on his leash skills and making great progress every day. At first Sheldon was pretty timid on his walks around the big new world he found himself in. But he’s really getting the hang of it and his confidence keeps growing. With ongoing effort by his new family Sheldon could become a dream walking companion. His foster mom describes him as being a lower energy kind of guy (for a puppy!). While he loves to play, he also enjoys lots of rest time. Being a young pup, Sheldon is going to need a family who will be ready to keep working on his training and building his confidence in new situations. He’d love a relatively quiet home with people around a lot of the time, a yard to play in and he would do well living with another dog or cat.
