Shortie

SHORTIE – Terrier Mix / 1.5 years / 8kg / M-neutered/ $450

Shortie is a wonderful, friendly little guy. He’s smart and very trainable. He’s already housetrained and crate trained and he walks on leash like a pro. Shortie loves to be near the people who care for him and, though he’s fine on his own for a few hours a day, he’d be happiest in a home where he isn’t left alone for long stretches at a time. He loves to spend time playing with other dogs. While he can be pretty low key with humans, he becomes Mr. Party time around his canine pals. He would love to find a house with a yard, but could be fine in an apartment as long as he gets enough outdoor time each day. He’s not very vocal but will bark a little at squirrels, the doorbell and when he’s enjoying a dog party. Shortie passed his cat test in Mexico. He’s being fostered with kids and is great with them. Given his small size he’d be best suited to kids who are old enough to interact respectfully with him (we’d suggest around 5+). Shortie would love to live with a new canine sibling but would be fine as the only dog as long as he gets to make some regular dog pals in his new neighbourhood.
