SONRISA / Mexi-Shepherd Mix / 5 months / 10kg / F-Spayed

Wee Sonrisa is here and loving every moment of life in Canada. Her name means smile and her foster mom says she’s living up to her name, as she just exudes happiness. The Canadian winter isn’t slowing this energetic pup down – she’s enjoying snowy hikes, multiple walks a day, and lots of backyard playtime with her canine foster sister. She’s a smart puppy – motivated by praise and affection mostly, play, and food (training will be so easy!), and she loves her chew toys. Sonrisa is an absolute cuddle bug who wants to give you as many kisses as she can, in between play time! She likes to nap on her bed or in her crate, which she goes into willingly and sleeps in peacefully through the night!

Sonrisa feels most comfortable alongside her foster sister, especially when going outside and being introduced to new things and bigger dogs. She does need a minute to get comfortable with new people but will be asking for cuddles in no time. As an energetic pup, in her future home she will need a confident canine sibling to keep up with her play and help show her the ropes. She will also need access to a secure backyard. Sonrisa will do best with people who are mostly home and will give her the attention and training she needs. Her future canine sibling will need to be equal in size to her or a little bigger, as she tends to play rough. She is still a little nippy, jumpy, and unsure of quick movements, so older or no children is best. She passed her cat test but since she is playful and very young, dog-savvy cats only for this girl.
