Spike is such a sweet lovable boy! He loves to be with people and he is building his confidence quickly. He does need time to process new surroundings but gets comfortable and learning new things every day. Spike is crate trained but he doesn’t need to be in the crate, he does enjoy his crate as his safe place. Spike when left alone sleeps til you get home. He does eat quickly and doesn’t chew his food much but he doesn’t mind sharing hisfood with others. Spike would do great in a home with another dog or by himself. He has been very comforting to his scared sister Riley who is also for adoption during these scary new few days of being rescued. He is doing great with house training and an amazing puppy that doesn’t seem to get into things at all but don’t leave a plate of food close to the edge of the counter…. We are working kitchen manners. Spike is a fun-loving dog who would adapt quickly.
