Taco is the total package: affectionate, intelligent, and extremely handsome. So let’s taco ’bout him…

Taco is the best combo: super playful, but mellow until it’s the right moment to let it out. Once he’s invited to play, he’ll roll around with his toys and especially loves tug of war with his people. He even plays nicely with kids! If you stop petting him before he deems acceptable, he will snuggle into you for more. He sleeps in his crate, no fuss, and even goes in there independently for quiet time. He enjoys walks and pulls a bit, but is easily corrected.

Taco would thrive from some good puppy schooling: his manners are pretty good so far, but he’s very smart and will do best if he has opportunities to be challenged. Case in point: his canine foster sis rings a bell at the door when she wants to go outside, and this clever dude has already picked up on that after just a few days. Taco is very food motivated, but doesn’t show aggression and has even let people put their hands in his dish while he’s eating.

Taco will be happiest with a family who can provide him with a lot of activity and mental stimulation, as well as a yard to zoom around in. One thing he doesn’t love is cats (hey, no one’s perfect), so he needs a cat-free home.
