TULLY – Shepherd Mix / 1.5 years / 36 kg / M-Neutered

Tully is as lovely as he is big! This gentle giant is just an awkward teenager who just wants to make his people happy. Tully absolutely adores his canine foster siblings and likes to play with them any chance he can get. When he’s not playing with his pup friends, Tully will happily chew on his favourite bone or play with his favourite hedgehog toy.

Tully sleeps quietly and happily in his crate overnight and LOVES food. He has also mastered his housetraining and hasn’t had one accident. He will politely go to the back door and wait to be let out. Structured routines and clear boundaries are the keys to Tully’s happiness, as he responds well to correction and genuinely aims to please his humans. Building trust may take some time, but once established, Tully becomes a pup full of love. Tully has already made great progress working on his leash skills and getting in and out of the car. Since he has only ever known life in a shelter, he can be shy when approaching new situations, so his future family will need to understand that some things may take time. Tully also looks for guidance from his canine friends, so a confident dog pal in the home will be required.

In Tully’s future home, his humans are home most of the time and have a backyard in the suburbs for him to play with. A confident and playful dog pal in the home is a must, preferably one close to his own size. Tully is also cool with cats, having aced the test down in Mexico. For the perfect match, we believe Tully would be best in a home kid-free, since he doesn’t quite know his own size yet.
