Ursula

Additional Info:
In her past life, wee Ursula had a family of her own, but after they dumped her at a shelter, this girl is looking for a well deserved upgrade! She is basking in all the love in her foster home, and she even met some older kids this past weekend, and thought they were a-ok. She loved this mini-excursion and was great in a new home with lot of new human interaction.
In her foster home, she is a perfect houseguest, and foster mom says she is the perfect mix of playful and calm. Her manners are amazing and she is house-trained, crate-trained and great with the dogs in the home. Overall, she is pretty easy to swoon over, so let’s share the minor imperfections. She is not good with cats or critters and would love to chase. She is amazing with people but is slower to approach men. In the car, she could take it or leave it: on a recent trip, she was somewhat fidgety (perhaps she needs a better car set-up). And, when she wants to communicate about something she isn’t keen on, she may exhibit a quiet growl. This is perfectly fine and we want dogs to communicate their likes and dislikes, but we don’t want her future family thinking it’s more than a “nope, nope, not for me” gesture. (Her concern has been with strange men, and she gets over it quickly).
Her future home should have people home most of the time, as she loves to be a companion dog, and she is always willing to bask in affection. She prefers a quieter life – burbs over city life, nature over traffic, calm over chaos.
