Zuky is part of our Foster-to-Adopt Program and a foster family has been selected! They will get first “dibs” on adoption, but if it turns out not to be a perfect fit, we will review other applications. 

Meet Zuky, a confident, loving, well-adjusted girl who loves to be cuddled. She is very sociable with everyone, dogs and people alike, and loves to play with them all. Even when busy on her own or with other dogs she’ll continuously glance back at her people, just in case she can sneak in a pat or two.

Being medium energy, Zuky would be terrific on both hikes or shorter walks. And because she’s such an easy-going girl, she would be a wonderful pup for families with no prior dog experience. She’s been leash-trained, loves car rides, and is crate-trained. She enjoys sitting on laps all the time – even if she has to forcefully burrow her way in – so setting some clear boundaries would really benefit her. She’s a smart cookie so it doesn’t take much for her to ace training and learn new tricks!
